Two remarkable landmarks. One breathtaking view of Harbour Grace.
Seen from above, the Spirit of Harbour Grace and the SS Kyle tell two very different chapters of the town’s extraordinary past. The historic DC-3 honours Harbour Grace’s proud aviation legacy, while the SS Kyle recalls a life of service along the coast of Newfoundland and Labrador before running aground during a storm in 1967.
Today, these treasured landmarks remain powerful symbols of aviation, adventure and life on the sea—stories that helped shape Harbour Grace.
